For those who believe writing stuff tells you a lot about a
person, almost all misinformation is written. on the dating
front there's a profile you read. my buddy says most is either
old or not true and he is talking from experience as he's still
single/////scripture says,Paul's words were weighty but he
didn't look to great, still he couldn't have been to
bad,drownings,beatings,prison,shipwrecks,etc.I wonder when the
first church letter turned up,what mental picture they had of
him An update on Mr nasty whom I've unNastied, I talked to his
mother in law and told her I was praying for the family, she told
me he was a troubled man, then said he's off to Sierra Leone to
help with the Ebola crisis for three months, any one who feels
like praying for this family it would be much appreciated,so
here's a Samaritan, doesn't know Jesus but a boots on the ground
sort of guy, worth a prayer or more. I was out taking odd dog for
a walk,who is still odd,we go past a house that's all over
run,two cars parked on the drive with flats, this week I noticed
one of the number plates was missing, greater awareness, thanks
to Midsomer murders,so what to do//phone police that's always a
pain, social services, hard to get a live person and one, who
speaks and understands English.so great quandary,so started
walking not past house, out of sight but not out of mind,(mental
picture, old couple with legs up the wall and very skinny)was
walking back with odd dog at the back of the said house,on
rounding the corner bumped into lady walking her dog, that seemed
normal,a sniffy match ensued with odd dog taking umbridge, went
into mean and surly mode,I then raised my concern about the
house, she lives opposite, she told me a son now owns it,parent
doesn't have legs up the wall, died a couple of years ago,I love
happy endings. The Lord gave me a scripture while I was out, from
the book of Psalms 27v13.KJV says I"had fainted" in
italics, better read" What if I had not believed to see the
Lord's goodness in the land of the living,Blessed assurance
Jesus is mine, oh what a foretaste of glory divine.

To nobody in particular,I was watching t.v.the other night,no it
wasn't hockey.A lady was interviewing a scruffy looking
gentleman, who obviously was somebody, who came from humble
beginnings to be somebody worth interviewing, didn't see the
beginning, but he said something that blew my socks off,He said
he was born in Newfoundland and his father was a fisherman, the
cod disappeared and it was hard times,no work produces lots of
children but his father kept a roof over their heads and bread
on the table and like me when I grew up never realised they were
poor. This is what his dad said to him"Don't spend your life
thinking about what you don't have, spend your life enjoying what
you do have"that's good enough for Proverbs.

The word the Lord gave me when we came down to only 6 suit cases
when left England was- " I am thy portion and thy inheritance.."
We still do not have "stuff" compared to those who have
prospered and gathered. Yet in the spiritual things we have
everything needful. Rich in family, rich in God.
The rest we leave behind anyway!

Our treasure is waking up each morning, anything else is a
bonus. I've always been happy with subsistence and covering and
anything above that is a true blessing, we have lived in good
seasons of plenty and times of great hardship but that is how
seasons go.
Things have been getting a lot tighter in the UK for several
years and I would like an abundant season to rest in but
whatever we are given is what God wants us to have. I know thats
a very simple view and some may need to progress in this world
but I have always tried to become content with the status quo

I asked Helen, why odd dog has to sniff every thing, she said it's
like reading a news paper to a dog,to odd dog it's like going to
the library,I all ways wonder at the heath food store, why it is
after reading about something,I have all the symptoms and it's
only found in some remote corner of Gods earth and cost an arm
and a leg.I also wonder how many translations of the bible there
are?I just looked and found four,I have more new testament
translations than whole bible translations, again I wonder
why, maybe cost?got bored?maybe just wanted to write their
own, maybe some one should write "the new mistranslation bible"
taken from the K.J.V.I'm rather glad they wrote it in
English, the others all Greek to me.I rather like just writing to
myself, keeps me from departing from the simplicity that's in
Christ.I wish someone would invent a computer that automatically
puts spaces between the words,I end up with 30 words all joined
together because I don't do the space bar thing.

Reply, what an odd word, wonder what it means?does anybody have
those days when your unction to function, doesn't?I had one of
those days yesterday,I was a bit like Paul,in the spirit or out
the spirit I know not,I had to take my grand daughter to the
airport at 3-15 in the afternoon, just as rush hour starts,(I bet
you've got bated breath for the spiritual part)no I wasn't
translated, did the driving bit,but something happened on the way
to the airport, whilst on the freeway, not feeling a lot of
anything,a person was trying to change lanes,no small feat I can
assure you in rush hour,so being a christian I took pity on him
and let him in and he never acknowledge my act of kindness, not
wave, not even a finger and what amazed me was the rush of
emotions that I felt, why does a gesture give you the warm
fuzzies and no gesture,go from fire on his/her head,a firm
commitment to let no one in EVER again, was it because I always
wave and so I've sowed?or was it God just showing me,He the same
yesterday,to-day and forever and so should I.

Who knows?
Is there such a thing as ply, then you get to do it again and
this time you re-ply.
Reply= to fold back, to replicate, to make a replica. So I
suspect that the original could be called a ply, and that ply is
then replicated in the reply, that is the very act to respond
and not of course the very communication that one at first
received.
Having explained, I now trust you have a complete understanding
of the use of Re. As in replenish, replant, repoint, or reprise.

Has anybody read,"epistles to the imprisoned saints" by Harry
Greenwood? or knows where to get a copy? I was reading of the
prison that unforgiveness brings, this is a quote from Richard
Exley,Many of us have mistakenly believed that repentance
precedes forgiveness when in fact the exact opposite is true.
Forgiveness provides the motivation and power which makes
repentance a reality!God forgives us,not because we have
changed, but so we can!!The inability to forgive is a major
source of unhappiness and inner turmoil, the feelings of
forgiveness almost never precede the actual act,if you wait for
the supposed emotional motivation you will quite probably spend
much of your life in a self made prison.learn to act out your
forgiveness and you will discover a life of joy and freedom, hope
that's a word of deliverance for somebody.

Not that long ago Helen was on this very topic wondering if
repentance must come first, I am not to sure what the eventual
conclusion was?
