Wow,I just read again,Richard Exleys quote in my last post on
forgiveness,that's powerful.If that's applied with the ability
to forget,we would have a lot of really happy saints with happy
families and happy bodies.

It's sort of funny, replying to yourself but here I am,had one of
those days to-day,took a friend to the hospital before he has
surgery in January. He's a Prof at the health science
center, believes we evolved from something,so before I dropped
him off, laid my hand on his shoulder and prayed for him,He
nearly jumped out of his coat, didn't know if it was the power or
I just made him jump,On Monday went to visit an aquaintance who
has been really sick and found out he died on Friday,So felt bad
that I hadn't gone earlier and prayed for him,so I suppose I've
had the "impotent man spirit" sitting on my head to-day and
unfortunately sort of agreeing with it,if I have one desire it's
to walk into a hospital and empty it.Well to-morrows another
day.

Know that one well, the desire to let ones shadow pass over beds
and see the sick get up and walk out.
Yes it does seem there is more I can't do than I can do. Some
days I feel in faith and strength and on others I feel like "who
am I kidding?"

You got a sister sick, I am good and fed up with sickness.
Went to hospital today as they wanted to test me because of
feeling a bit odd the other day, pronounced me 100% fit. Then
went on to say but we need to take the worst case scenario and
consider that the next time you will be completely paralysed one
side or dead. I thought hell no! I am not going to take the
worst case scenario, every knee must bow to the name of Jesus
what ever that name is, you are not going to tell me I'm sick
when Jesus says I am not.
Told the doctor "you take the worst case and I will take the
fact that I am 100% and when your test prove I am I shall say
told you so".
Whatever Sis has got in Woking that too is under the blood of
Jesus, bless her Father in the name of you son Jesus, body be
healed.

Good word Bro,I'm agreeing with you so that's two of us and
Jesus says that's enough,Did you hear of the healing evangelist
who at the called for any one who needed prayer to come
forward,a man came out and the ministry asked him his need, the
man replied for my hearing,he's prayed for,the ministry says how
is it,he says, it's on Monday.I know a bit of a groaner.

I totally agree with you Mike!!
It does not make any sense. James...if it was a stroke...then I
have NEVER heard of a doctor not finding the cause and heading
off the "next time"!! Was it high blood pressure, etc etc ? ie
What caused it in the first place? What investigations are they
doing now?
Do they have you on blood thinners...even if it were just the
baby aspirin?
Are they monitoring blood pressure? No doctor just says .."next
time you will be paralysed or dead"...he is delighted to get you
on a handful of preventive medication. Fill in the blacks for
us.
If it was a pinched nerve, then are they investigating to find
where?
I have heard of people being paralyses by a pinched nerve...
until it is un-pinched... but I have never heard of anyone
dropping dead from a pinched nerve!
I am with Mike...it leaves more questions than answers!
Praying that someone is being proactive so that it does not
happen again and, that there is no- " next time.".
Sending prayers of wisdom your way.
Please pray for son in law Alan. The fragile tendon that ripped
at his knee two months ago gave way last night! It shot right
up from his knee to his thigh...
Please PRAY that the swelling goes down, and he can get surgery
VERY quickly. Like tomorrow, or SOON!!
After that, for 6 weeks he will be in a cast from toe to
hip...and cannot even put a toe on the ground. It will be three
months before he can work again.
And..pray for all the poor cancer patients that he has slated to
do surgery on over the next month or so!! This devestation
involves many more people than just him. He is the most busy
cancer reconstruction surgeon in Calgary.
Obviously he is 'besides himself' as the saying goes. He feels
he has let everyone down.
