I have read recent discussion on free speech, which is very interesting and
probably very important for development of democracy. Now look at this:
> EU Sanctions Russians, Syrians Over Use of Chemical Weapons
> EU foreign ministers meeting Monday in Brussels slapped travel bans
> and asset freezes on four Russians
https://www.voanews.com/a/eu-sanctions-russians-syrians-over-use-of-chemical-weapons/4751866.html
Make a guess why it concerns me more than shit on wire.
% body
While you may continue discussion of checks and balances of censure, I
must remind you that your freedoms are actively exploited. I find most
"discrimination" topics highly forced and manipulative. The problem is
manipulation with topics brought to mass discussion and humanitarian
bullshit blurring line between "opinions". There's canonical example of
it by wikipedians:
> In June 2016, 107 Nobel laureates signed an open letter urging
> Greenpeace to end its opposition to genetically modified organisms
> (GMOs).
> The Nobel laureate letter was criticised by Silvia Ribeiro of the ETC
> Group, calling it more of "a propaganda tirade from transgenic
> companies than scientists presenting a position".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenpeace#Open_letter_from_Nobel_laureates
While it's goal by itself of spawning conflict topics, bringing
conflicting sides to intolerance, then growing either side out of
control by government as canonical way to impose loyal government in
destabilized country, there's more obvious goal with higher tier being
north-atlantic security dome. And that's why baltic states are worried,
because they are in very similar situation as we are now, and they
won't need your mole and useful idiot politicians apologizes and
"revocation of travel visa" when shit happen.
I always thought "edge" cases of xenophoby were explored and thought
out in excess with space sci-fi boom, that is exploration of
coexisting. I simply don't find them interesting and am highly
disappointed with recent terminology product of intellectual
masturbation called phylosophy.
For long time I thought humor is technically always offensive. That's
the reason you turn to absurdity in oppressive state.
Yet again you mention mass media which feed you problematic theme.
I think you didn't hit point yet where compromised parties lead
"fight against disinformation" and even hijack initiatives to disclose
political bot farms (repeat: compromised!).

Explanation on this was planned russian army intrusion to drill

while mediawhores had to flood infospace with France lumpen protests.
But we're surely concerned about journalists safety, covering protests

Limited number of tyblas settle russian metastasis abroad. But majority
stay within, hold their citizenship and pay taxes. Every time you give
"not like others" russian warm welcome, ask him who and when started
WW2, who owns Crimea, who and why used novichok agent, who and why
crashed MH17, who and when invaded Georgia and how much ukrainians died
in Ukraine from their "nameless heroes" hands. Ukrainian borders are
closed for all russian male adults but they still dramatically wonder
why.
There is no known roadmap of deoccupation of all russian sockpuppetry
until economic collapse of main terrorist state and even then there's
no known way to demilitarize russian federation zombies, ready to
invade.

I barely understand your goals. In any case you'd probably stay within
civilization traveling between emergency camps/sites.
Medkit
------
Marker to write on body (timestamps and ID particularly). Poisoning:
anti-nausea (metoclopramide), anti-diarrhea (loperamide, also useful
for long transportations/travel, furazolidone - note it's MAOI),
colloidal silica. Stuff, which may help in some cases: high blood
pressure reducer (common tabs at minimum), antihystamine (allergic
reactions), injectable antihystamine (suddenly discovered acute
allergy; it happens), antacid. More obvious stuff: bottle of antiseptic
(chlorhexidine), diclofenac (tabs and ampoules), antibiotic (you
choose), panthenol. Rehydration powder. Training for other things. All
in all it doesn't take lot of space compared to your kits.
Mosquitoes ointment (optional). Mousetraps (important, or you loose
your bags/loot).
Caffeine tabs. Because it's addiction.
Depending on your scenario, other things may be included, some not
ethical to mention.
Tools
-----
Nylon thread and awl for boots and bags emergency repair.
Tape measure. Pencil. Nails.
Electricity
-----------
Neon test screwdriver, screw terminals, your local plug socket/split.
Wet destructed buildings and generators await you.
Accesories
----------
Stainless steel cup.
Fill residue with lighters, duct tape, plastic bags, wet napkins,
toilet paper, underpants and socks.
Maps
----
Osmand/whatever you use/sun panel/powerbank. Paper is good too.
Food
----
You doubtfully will have food supply problems. Outdoors food
storage/preservation technics is key point probably.
Take spices.
I had great fun watching Townsends channel for food storage and
wasteland cooking advices:

P.S. I had to google all your junk names! And where's titanium spork?

gopher, not oppress it.
zwansch: The concentration camps are currently empty.
zwansch: This means by hard facts that there is no oppression.

So what's the deal with capitalist corporations occupation government
and clearnet censorship? Probably this:

The deal is your facebook by passport and no simple answers for complex
problems. What's the deal with parties previously mentioned here?
Exploitation of your concerns. So what parties do? Is fragmentation,
radicalisation, distrust-seeding can really be someones goal?
Hijacking of tech projects is trivial with lack of users interest.
Just remember: when you choose to run from responsibilities, you take
responsibility of running from responsibilities.

Few notes on softcore propaganda.
Regarding papa's interest in DEMOS (grex.org). Wikipedia article is yet
another attempt to blur event-consequence relationship. To understand
whole retardness of attempt you should get idea of communist level of
development of cybernetics (and for same reason of genetics). You
should also get idea of how any popular CPUs completely resembled
command set of western ones, only if you didn't approve it from same
hobbyists worshipping soviet sausages for 2.20 rubles . In very short -
this is absolutely not point really deserving interest and it shouldn't
trick into false sense of delight.
There's also paper circulating between file mirrors (yes, your mirror,
idiot!) called ARUSSIAN.PDF with positive experience of teaching
russians in moscow. Someone put significant effort to keep russian
views on civilisation off your countries, and yet you drag it in. What
a bummer.

So I have very important post (of my observation of internet
(about psychology)). You are welcome to read.
% body
All of these articles passed over my eye during past year and with what
I see they form nice conclusion.
1. Problems with classic experiments
------------------------------------
From: Two More Classic Psychology Studies Just Failed The
Reproducibility Test (26 SEP 2016)
Link:
https://www.sciencealert.com/two-more-classic-psychology-studies-just-failed-the-reproducibility-test
Abstract:
The 1988 study concluded that our facial expressions can influence our
mood - so the more we smile, the happier we'll be, and vice versa.
The 1998 study, led by Roy Baumestier from Case Western University,
provided evidence for something called ego depletion, which is the idea
that our willpower can be worn down over time.
2. Marshmallow test
-------------------
From: Why Rich Kids Are So Good at the Marshmallow Test (Jun 1, 2018)
Link:
https://www.theatlantic.com/family/archive/2018/06/marshmallow-test/561779/?utm_source=atlfb
Abstract:
The marshmallow test is one of the most famous pieces of social-science
research: Put a marshmallow in front of a child, tell her that she can
have a second one if she can go 15 minutes without eating the first
one, and then leave the room. Whether she’s patient enough to double
her payout is supposedly indicative of a willpower that will pay
dividends down the line, at school and eventually at work. Passing the
test is, to many, a promising signal of future success.
3. Stanford Prison Experiment
-----------------------------
From: The Stanford Prison Experiment was massively influential. We just
learned it was a fraud. (13 Jun 2018)
Link:
https://www.vox.com/2018/6/13/17449118/stanford-prison-experiment-fraud-psychology-replication
Abstract:
The study took paid participants and assigned them to be "inmates" or
"guards" in a mock prison at Stanford University. Soon after the
experiment began, the "guards" began mistreating the "prisoners",
implying evil is brought out by circumstance. The authors, in their
conclusions, suggested innocent people, thrown into a situation where
they have power over others, will begin to abuse that power. And people
who are put into a situation where they are powerless will be driven to
submission, even madness.
4. Bipolar Disorder and "synaptic pruning"
------------------------------------------
From: "Schizophrenia Gene" Discovery Sheds Light on Possible Cause.
Improper "pruning" of neural connections could lead to the
development of mental illness (28 Jan 2016)
Link:
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/schizophrenia-gene-discovery-sheds-light-on-possible-cause/
Abstract:
After conducting studies in both humans and mice, the researchers said
this new schizophrenia risk gene, called C4, appears to be involved
in eliminating the connections between neurons - a process called
"synaptic pruning," which, in humans, happens naturally in the teen
years.
5. Regarding causes of autism
-----------------------------
From: First Biomarker Evidence Autism Is Linked to DDT (16 Aug 2018)
Link:
https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/900776
Abstract:
Elevated levels of a dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) metabolite
in pregnant women provide the first biomarker evidence that the banned
insecticide is implicated in autism in children, new research shows.
DDT and other organic pollutants were widely banned in many countries
decades ago, but they persist in the food chain, leading to continuous
exposure among populations. The chemicals transfer across the placenta,
resulting in potential prenatal exposure.
6. Regargind psychological component of opiate dependence
---------------------------------------------------------
From: Human Endogenous Retrovirus-K HML-2 integration within RASGRF2 is
associated with intravenous drug abuse and modulates transcription
in a cell-line model (23 Aug 2018)
Link:
http://www.pnas.org/content/early/2018/09/19/1811940115
Abstract:
The human genome is “littered” with remnants of ancient retrovirus
infections that invaded the germ line of our ancestors. Only one of
these may still be proliferating, named HERV-K HML-2 (HK2). Not all
humans have the same HK2 viruses in their genomes. Here we show that
one specific uncommon HK2, which lies close to a gene involved in
dopaminergic activity in the brain, is more frequently found in drug
addicts and thus is significantly associated with addiction.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I love humanities. And respect psychology.
"Gender studies", socionics and any other simulation of mental activity
don't get enough emphasize on complete lack of rational effort from
"research" and "study" distinction.
So what I have to say is: luckily humanity has enough people who put
some kind of value in word "science".

UPDATE: quick followup
#gay_feminism #proletarian_science #gopher_studies
From: Academic Grievance Studies and the Corruption of Scholarship (2 Oct 2018)
Link:
https://areomagazine.com/2018/10/02/academic-grievance-studies-and-the-corruption-of-scholarship/
Extract:
This essay, although hopefully accessible to everyone, is the most
thorough breakdown of the study and written for those who are
already somewhat familiar with the problems of ideologically-motivated
scholarship, radical skepticism and cultural constructivism.
What we just described is not knowledge production; it’s sophistry.
That is, it’s a forgery of knowledge that should not be mistaken for
the real thing.
Many papers advocated highly dubious ethics including training men like
dogs ("Dog Park"), punishing white male college students for historical
slavery by asking them to sit in silence in the floor in chains during
class and to be expected to learn from the discomfort ("Progressive
Stack"), celebrating morbid obesity as a healthy life-choice ("Fat
Bodybuilding"), treating privately conducted masturbation as a form
of sexual violence against women ("Masturbation"), and programming
superintelligent AI with irrational and ideological nonsense before
letting it rule the world ("Feminist AI"). There was also considerable
silliness including claiming to have tactfully inspected the genitals
of slightly fewer than 10,000 dogs whilst interrogating owners as to
their sexuality ("Dog Park"), becoming seemingly mystified about why
heterosexual men are attracted to women ("Hooters"), insisting there is
something to be learned about feminism by having four guys watch
thousands of hours of hardcore pornography over the course of a year
while repeatedly taking the Gender and Science Implicit Associations
Test ("Porn"), expressing confusion over why people are more concerned
about the genitalia others have when considering having sex with them
("CisNorm"), and recommending men anally self-penetrate in order to
become less transphobic, more feminist, and more concerned about the
horrors of rape culture ("Dildos"). None of this, except that Helen
Wilson recorded one "dog rape per hour" at urban dog parks in Portland,
Oregon, raised so much as a single reviewer eyebrow, so far as their
reports show.
.. "I wonder if they'd publish a feminist rewrite of a chapter from
Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf." The answer to that question also turns out
to be "yes". ...
Why Did We Do This?
Because we're racist, sexist, bigoted, misogynistic, homophobic,
transphobic, transhysterical, anthropocentric, problematic, privileged,
bullying, far right-wing, cishetero straight white males (and one white
female who was demonstrating her internalized misogyny and overwhelming
need for male approval) who wanted to enable bigotry, preserve our
privilege, and take the side of hate?

Welp, cat thinks it should be like
"cross your arms at the wrist, with your left
hand make an inverted L shape and with your right make a
circle shape"
(whatever)

I don't know what is mastodon, but I support your initiative to share game
tastes.

Not in specific order:
1. Monolith Blood 1 (DOS, 1997)
HAHAHA! You will know what to do when the time comes.
I still use this one sounds on ringtone.
2. Dark eye (1995)
This:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dark_Eye_(video_game)
It's not much of a game, it just crafted in a way to give very specific
feels (and does it well).
Longer comment: yes, it's that game without sound accompaniment but
with monotonous William Burroughs (5000 HAHAHA) voice. All I recommend
is reading general description before "playing" it. No youtube, not
cheats (HAHAHA, cheats!).
3. Elder's Scrolls 3: Morrowind (Windows, 2002)
It's quite weird when I read people playing tons of days
Skyrim/Oblivion: what did you do when Morrowind was out? It's third
game in ES series and I played Daggerfall and tried Arena - there were
not enough features as in Morrowind and somehow I think Skyrim/Oblivion
don't contribute to make difference. But I certainly may be wrong as it
was in System Shock 1 to 2 series - media surrounding was real changer.
I remember played it intended way (was there intended way?). First we
learned there's classic reward dialog bug in Balmora, then I killed
Balmora Council Club inhabitants and GOT MY HOARDING LAIR. Later I
learned it's given in different place by mainline story. I didn't
finish main quest for years; there was guy who built houses from
bottles. I've seen all this shit far before reaching into MMO worlds.
4. System Shock 2 (which was year?)
I didn't exploit alarms for shortgun ammo or any tricky trick you've
seen in speedrunners videos. I just really enjoyed atmosphere. Some
years after Bioshock (which I didn't find definitely necessary to play)
I played System Shock 1 and damn how much it pleased me.
Heh, I remember someone offered mail registration on @trioptimum.com at
some fun forum, as I got some :D
On very important side, I have read somewhere there's SS3 in
development.
5. Fallout
Damn yeah! Any mentat? :c
6. What's that?!
And that's honorable mentions section you've missed, haha. And here
it's UFOs 1997 adventure game by Artech (highly recommend, Gopher
Editor's pick, shit hat scene is worth half of darknets), Bluebyte's
Albion (that gem that I dug in abandonware before I learned to use
GOG), maybe some more, I don't know :D
Other things you should know about my game tastes is that I didn't play
Planescape, I NEVER played any Diablo and I've probably played any
other game out there from 1995 to 2005 range. I FUCKING HATE counter
strike and from Quake/Unreal I definitely choose Unreal (you do
remember Brandon/van den Bos's work?). I've played shitload of Tomb
Raider series until it got spoiled (first 4 parts?).
If I play anything now - it's cataclysm dda (goddamn buggy rolling
release). Yesterday I tried wilderness as survivor with 0 city size AND
SURVIVED (probably until I get calcium deficit problem, I don't think it
changed from calcium tablet dependency).
Well, no RTS, MMO and board games on this list. But it's still quite
accurate for only 5. Hm, no console games too :D
