+<p>The Department of Geoscience, Aarhus University, Denmark, invites |

+of meltwater erosion under ice sheets as part of the ongoing project |

+"Dynamical modelling of subglacial meltwater erosion during past and |

+future glaciations". The work revolves around building a numerical |

+model of subglacial channelized drainage over soft beds, simulating the |

+formation of tunnel valleys, and predicting the dynamics of erosion |

+processes under the future ice sheets. The study will be utilizing a |

+detailed geological model of parts of northern Germany, at the outskirt |
|
+of the Scandinavian Ice Sheet during major Quaternary glaciations. The |
|
+project is carried out in collaboration with the Department of Geology, |
|
+Leibniz University Hannover, Germany.</p> |

+<p>The ideal candidate has a strong background in one or several disciplines |

+including geoscience, glaciology, hydrogeology, numerical methods, and |

+high performance computing. Interest in quantifying geological processes |
