Good morning, everyone. :) Afternoon for most of you, I
believe, but "good morning" sounds so much less stiff and formal
than "good afternoon".
I just thought I'd introduce myself: I'm Dr. Egregious, chess
fanatic. Pleased to meet you all. :)

Queen to G5
[/quote]
Um... how can the Queen move from F3 to G5 in one turn, KarjamP?
:P

For shame; I should've caught that. :D Guess I was looking at

Must've been looking at the wrong letters.
Anyway, corrected.

Your notation is a bit off there, Shane; it should be 19. Qxh5
Ne2+.
"++" usually means checkmate, though "#" is more common. "+"
means check.

Apparently, I missed something on the Wikipedia article
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algebraic_chess_notation#Check_and_checkmate<br
/>about chess notation! :))
Fixed. Thanks for notifying me. :)

Sure thing; just pulling my weight. :) Also, he moved his
queen to h5, but you have h1 in your record; it has no bearing
on the game, but it might confuse you later if you decide to
study the game.

Fixed, thanks for noticing and notifying! :)

Things seem to look well for Shane. :o
It's not everyday you see someone pulling off a double check.

Aye; the only possible escape from double check is to move the
king, since you can't stop two threats in one turn. It's
vicious.
