Those push pins can be bought anywhere, mcmastercarr, any auto |
|
parts store, probably even walmart. Car looks good btw. Ready to |
|
see it slide |

Oh I know I coulda saved some money on them if I searched around |

or was willing to wait for them to ship from eBay but I'm |
|
extremely impatient. They were only $.27 ea, 50 after tax was |
|
$14.58. Pretty sure he threw in a few extra too but didn't |
|
count. |

Got a ticket for my exhaust being too loud - it really is stupid |
|
loud - so I had to quickly come up with a way to quiet it down, |
|
I don't want to drive all the way to Detroit with it like this. |
|
At first I was gonna buy a couple universal silencer inserts but |
|
since these pipes are an odd size, the only ones I could find |
|
were $20/ea. Not spending $40 on silencers, I only paid 60 for |
|
the whole muffler. I don't really like the way they look either, |
|
they just look so cheap. So this was what I came up with - |

I bet I lost 10hp or more with these things. Pretty much as soon |
|
as I cross the border into PA I'm taking those out. NY is a |
|
total police state. Damn I can't wait to be out of here. |
