Just a catch-up on here as to- �where I am�.
Any feedback welcome�always.
Someone wrote to me and this is the response I sent back to
them.
Maybe it would be edifying to post it here too, as an FYI
'filling in the gaps'.
I have change a word here and there, but this is pretty much
�as is� my email.

Even before you wrote I had been musing (hopefully in the
Lord) about the LW situation.
Here are my thoughts.
1) I didn�t sign up for having to �baby the site� along.
2) I thought that all the cherry picked members were self
moderating mature Christians. (and I knew the high risk of being
banned from CB in doing so, which has happened!)
3) I realized a few days ago, after I had tried to �put out
fires� by deleting posts ...that I was now doing what I never
intended to do�.which was �babying the site � and I realized
that I was trying to protect it before other members saw those
posts. (especially from new members and those who still log on
, but already no longer post. Which, by me babying the site,
is NOT what I had ever intended to do!
I�m sorry now that I deleted any posts. :'(
I realized after doing so, that I was �putting my hand� to the
Site, in an effort to �make it different and more friendly� than
CB.
I do not believe that I was pleasing to the Lord , but it was
'just me� trying to make a difference between the two Sites�as
it was me just trying to white wash.
Difference comes from the heart , if the hearts are not seeking
that , I sure can't bring it to pass.
From now on, I intend to keep my hands off ...and allow the Site
to be what it will be.
Right now I somehow don�t feel that it will last very long.
It may just vanish in a puff ...as the members dwindle away,
back to CB.
Well at least we were all willing, and we gave it a try.

It is out of our hands now-God and the Membership here will
either make something of it , or not.
So what I am probably not saying well, is that for myself, I am
not going to �try� to bring forth anything. God knows.
Any �trying� on my part would just be my flesh at work , not
Gods hand.
The hearts are where it is at, and it is the proof of where the
real desires lays.

Since I am one of the primary players in all of this, I think I
need to speak up.
First of all, it was my sensitivity that caused most of the
upheaval. But, I guess I will always have problems in that
area. Maybe the only thing I can offer is that any perceived
slights need to be handled strictly by PM or e-mail.
I'll leave it at that.

place to talk with other Christians . . Having been in sorta the

A forum could be seen as like having a child. And we want to
protect that child from the evils of the world as we would be
tempted to do with a real child. But it would be wiser to
prepare the child for anything that comes their way...and leave
off the protection.
We need order but never control. If we can differentiate those
2...keeping the freedom in the Spirit as an undefiled
maxim...then we can proceed come what may.
So we have to allow God in to challenge and to correct and to
tear down and to build and to edify. ALL of it.

Well, maybe I see things differently than others do. If a man
on one of my jobs fouled something up, I put the responsibility
of fixing that work on him, and only on him. I tried never
(unless it was a dire emergency) to take that away from each
individual.
If someone calls some one a ________ , or threatens something
out of line, it is my firm conviction that the first order of
resolution for the administration is contacting the poster,
explaining the problem, and telling them to go fix it right now
by rewording what they said.
If they refuse, THEN deleting could be in order. But Thread
titles (of someone else's thread) should never be changed.
Posts a person wrote should not just vanish before they even
appear, IF there is no profanity or something like that,
involved.
As I said, maybe I'm totally wrong in that thinking, but I
cannot, for the life of me, understand why things can't be
handled that way. Recommend changes and alterations, rather
than ripping things up like Nancy Pelosi did to Trump's speech.
Of course, that is just my view on a few things. I'm perfectly
willing to hear why they won't work.

Good thought , I see what you are saying.. .. but it's not where
I am at.
It's not 'my' child ...
This "Spare Room" was just offered as an empty site spinning for
a few years in space doing nothing.
So when mjrhealth mentioned that he'd like a safer place ( He
was thinking of inviting Pia, whom some of you would remember
from a couple of years ago on CB. )
...but for some reason I slowly began to feel that somehow I
was responsible for this Sites success or its failure. How
stupid was that!
I am not.
I am just as everyone else , daily step by step making my way
Home.
It just nice to have someone to the right and to left to chat
with and encourage each other along the way. Fellowship is
needful and helpful, we need our brothers and sisters speaking
into our life.
You say ' we need order' I believe that is what our brothers and
sisters are for! God set us in a body of which He is the Head.
So we will either moderate each other by the Spirit ( and
ourselves) or we may as well just go back to CB. ( those of you
who can go, anyway! LOL )
Everyone here is a mature christian, we can so easily bring a
positive to cover a negative ,( our friend Amadeus has a knack
of doing that...over the years he has slapped me down firmly ,
but in a kind and gentle way. ;D ) confrontation is not always
or often needed, but a positive post to cover a negative is good
and easy for keeping the spiritual atmosphere encouraging and
friendly....and the Holy Spirit is the One who actually speaks
to the heart of the offender.
One thread on CB I was in, it took me pages before I slapped my
head and realized that the guy could not hear a word I was
saying...and he, by his own words , was totally closed to
anything from the holy spirit.
Just black print on white paper was all he could see and hear.
Let God be true...and have His way. ♥︎
