2025 US School Illness tracking thread
By: Data Report Date: February 4, 2025, 9:51 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Was back and forth on the idea of starting a 2025 school illness
tracking thread. Then decided to start a section on the site for
it as there have been more schools closed for illness than I
have ever seen before. So here we are This will be the 2025
school illness tracking thread.
There will be some simple rules for this thread to make it easy
for those who will follow this thread.
1. Please put the city/state/county the school is in and if only
some of that information is available that is fine.
2. Please post the dates the school was closed for illness. I
myself will likely be going back through all the school illness
postings I did on X/Bluesky there for the first few pages of
this thread may show a lot of entries from January.
3. Type of illness does not matter as there will be many
articles that won't list the type of illness. However, if they
do list what it is you can add it if you want.

Locking this thread until I get it all caught up with everything
I find I will try to start from the beginning of the year and
make my way up to now. This may not get complete today and may
take until later in the week.
