(Brookville, Indiana.) - Brookville Elementary School is moving
to e-learning the next two days.
The school will be closed Wednesday, January 29 and Thursday,
January 30 due to excessive illnesses, the Franklin County
Community School Corporation announced.

for Illness.

Oklahoma: On January 28th Due to illness shutting down schools,
two high school basketball match-ups � Gore at Gans and Central
at Kinta � along with the Vian Wolverines� wrestling at the
Hilldale High School Quadrangular were all canceled.

Andover Schools in Whichita Kansas sent a letter home on January
28th informing parents that making parents aware that the number
of illness cases in the school had gone up. This Included
Influenza A, B, Covid and other viruses.

In Fayette County Tennessee the Fayette Academy in Somerville
closed on Thursday, January 30 and Friday, January 31 due to
�the staggering number of illnesses among faculty, staff and
students.�

About 1,300 Ohio State University students may have been exposed
to an illness that can cause meningitis.
The university confirms a student tested positive for
meningococcal disease last week, which is an infection caused by
a bacteria that can lead to the development of meningitis.

Jackson Tennessee area TSSAA high school basketball games
affected by illness on Friday January 31st. Multiple games were
impacted by this outbreak.

Rutherford County Tennessee: Parents at Oakland Middle School,
Oakland High School, and at the McFadden School of Excellence
have all gotten calls that there are cases of whooping cough
(pertussis) at each school. The reason they do this is because
it�s highly contagious, and they want to make sure you�re
watching out for symptoms and check their vaccination records.

Colorado Springs: On January 29th The El Paso County Public
Health Department (EPCPH) had issued a pertussis notice to
parents of students at Jenkins Middle School due to what it is
calling the first outbreak of the year in El Paso County.
