Rear rack/bag suggestions
By: Colorado Rider Date: February 27, 2014, 11:21 pm

I'm looking for the best solution for a light-weight tail bag
for the 690. The need is to carry a 'normal' sized gym bag on
the back; probably about 10 pounds. If I had bag that was made
for a rack that would be better than just 'making it work'
(although I may end-up doing that). I think the wolfman racks
are neat, but not crazy about the side racks for the panners and
just looking for a little capacity. Any suggests would be
appreciated!

Seabee just posted a pic of his rack, sounds like it would fit
the bill.

Thanks for the tip; it looks nice! I'm look at the kriega US-20
to either go on top of the rack, or maybe just to the existing
hand-holds.

I haven't got the NR rack for the 690 yet, but I did get the
US20 Kriegla bag. The picture shows my gym bag repacked into
the US20, it fits fine. I put the glasses on top of the bag to
show some scale as to the size.
Now I just need to get it on the bike! Unfortunately we are
heading for a low of 3F tonight...

Happy with yer bag? I love the heck outta mine. Thinking about
getting dual 5L bags to strap to my US-20... OR get the GL
Mojave bag in addition. We'll see. Hafta fit a rotopax cube on
first. See how much room I got to play with.

Love the bag with the large center compartment and two zip-up
pockets; one mesh. Still waiting for the rack; I called them
today. The racks have to be bent, powered coated and so forth;
maybe next week...
