Hugeroost,
Yeah, at one time we were allowed to store our pictures on this
website, then the policy changed and that is why the pictures
are deleted. Now we have to have the pictures elsewhere and
link to them. Anyway, here are a couple that I took recently.

Here's one from today with the backpack, the gym back (C-10) and
a package from the post office to boot!

Colorado Rider,
I see that you have a Scott Oiler installed on your bike. Which
model, how do you like it and why did you go with the Scott
Oiler vs others?
Thanks.

Philip,
Check out the install page for more pics - it's on this site
here:

I've seen the Scottoiler on street bikes and really liked the
idea of reduced maintenance and less spray lube to buy! I
bought it because it was the one that I knew the most about and
they seemed to have a good reputation.

Anyone gotten the rear rack from Perun in Serbia?
http://www.perunmoto.com/products/ktm-690-enduro-luggage-rack
Looks a little better than the Nomadic one (slots for straps and
rubber bumber/support etc)
Price is on par with other racks. Was thinking about getting
this rack and the tank bolts together and saving on shipping
charges!

Sweet find. I like their side rack adaptor plates.
Unfortunately I already have the Nomadic rack.

I have Perun's basic rack and the extension plate he sells on my
690. So far I have only carried my Wolfman tail bag on it that
is large enough to hold a full face helmet. It will be later
this spring and summer before I really get to test it out.

Great thread!
I've been going back and forth between the Perun Moto ($120),
the Nomad ($100), and the Wolfman ($200). The Perun costs about
$40 to ship to the US, but I ended up choosing it because:
[li]I've seen a number of his posts on ADVRider and he's really
put some great thought into it[/li]
[li]It's designed to be compatible with the Touratech side racks
(which I have). Although I did see this thread which shows the
Nomad is also compatible
http://690enduro.createaforum.com/racks-luggage/touratech-side-racks-nomadic-to…
/>[/li]
[li]It's the smallest (which could be a negative, but he does
make an optional expansion plate) and it seems to fit the lines
of the bike a little better [/li]
I'll post a review when I get it installed.

If I were posed with the same options, I'd go with Perun's rack.
I really like the extra spots for straps and whatnot. I got the
Nomadic rack and its working just fine, but I woulda gone with
Perun's if I'd had the chance. :P

I ordered Perun's tank bolts, rack and heel guards last week.
Hope to get them soon.
