Addendum to yesterday's post. I was unable to communicate via pat
because the serial TNC method was not working correctly and
was hard coding settings that would not allow the radio to
communicate. I had to use Winlink RMS instead. It appears KISS is
the best way to make it work on Linux. So today I set up KISS and
used the TH-D74 (which is KISS only) on a mag mount Diamond MR77
dual band antenna.
Turned that semi-victory into a full victory.
