Yahoo! is Cruel to Me
=====================
Last monday I wanted to read Yahoo mail on the web. The web has become a
PITA with cookie policy everywhere. You have to accepti or reject the
cookies  or set up your preferences.
Of course, if you want to read mail, you have to log in with a password.
Wait! The password is not enough! First you have to click some pictures to
prove that you are not a robot. Then, there is the MFA - Multy Factor
Authentication, Yahoo asks me if I want to receive a code by SMS or
WhatsApp. Guess what? I never received one.
So, my new year resolution (not really a new year resolution) will be to
delete my account or to stop logging in, so my account will be deleted in one
year.
Now, the biggest problem is accounts on other servers to whih my login key
is the e-mail address. Your MUC(Multi User Chat) accounts may have an e-mail
address associated with them.
So, every time you log in to an account, check your e-mail address.
Every time you receive a message to the mail box, change your address.
Birthdays can be helpful, too because you probably get happy birthday
wishes.
And I do not care anymore about pictures I have uploaded to Flickr.
Let them be deleted 12 months after I've uninstalled my mail client.
