They Might As Well Be Dead
==========================
It's been about 10 days since it started raining here.
One night there was even a thunder-storm with lots of noisy thunders.
Umbrellas are not always the best solution against getting wet; some
coats and jackets provide you with a better protection. I like walking
down the streets even in the winter with flip-flops to my feet and without
socks.  I was walking down the street yesterday or the day before yesterday
when someone shouted at me out of nowhere:

 WHERE ARE YOUR SOCKS?

This sucks. Just live and let live. I want to decide for myself if I want
to wear socks or do not want it.
I asked him what socks are, and when he showed me one that he wears I just
decided to leave.
Gosh darn it. I had enough of it when I was a minor and the only reason
for me to not walk bare-footed on the cold floor was that my parents said so.

Yesterday, it started raining while I was walking home without my jacket,
and instead of running and hiding my he ad, I started singing the Beatles'
song "Rain". The first verse started with:

 If the rain comes
they run and hide their heads.
They might as well be dead...

Yeah, that what I think when people have problems with me not wearing
socks.
