Slow Internet

Where I live we don't go back in time to connect to the dial-in
connection, when you dial the number of a provider to get internet
connection. I had been having DSL connection till I got tired of it.
I do not need to schedule the arrival of a technician and pay for it
just because I want to switch to another infrastructure provider over
a monopoly's infrastructure.
So, last Tuesday I returned my DSL router. Now, I don't have Wi Fi at
home, and when I want to connect my desktop to the internet, I use my
smartphone. I may need to upgrade my package if I still want to use
cellular data.
Meanwhile, it is good enough for me. When cellular data is disabled, I
see that I am connected to the building's Wi Fi, but the signal is weak,
which makes my connection slow again. Let the internet be slow because
the web has become a real pain in the ass with those banners about
cookies.
Slow internet is pretty cool when you have no one around you to complain
about the slowness of internet. You just do it at your own pace without peer
pressure to upgrade
your gears.
