They'll Never Get Hungry
========================
Sounds pretty cool, I dislike the moments when i'm on a trip but have
to take a break because someone is hungry. Or someone needs to go to the
restroom just as we find the highway clear. So, I like the little line
from Fastball's song "The Way".
I sometimes like to share that great song whose chorus contain the lines

Anyone can see the road that they walk on is paved in gold
And it's always summer, they'll never get cold
 They'll never get hungry
They'll never get old and grey

I also like it because of "an exist to eternal summer slacking...".
Only once I added the reason why the song had popped to my head when
publishing it to a social network: if you have read the background to
the song, you understand that the "exit" is death.
The real story is about a married couple from Salado, Texas, who went
to the Pioneer Festival in Temple, Texas in spite of their health
problems in Juse 1997: one had suffered from the Alzheimer disease and the
other was recovering from brain surgery.
They were found death two week later in a ravine next to Hot Springs,
Arkansas.

These days many of us are under curfews due to a pandemic. I read
every now and then about a person who has died from the disease, and
cannot help thinking about the things from which he or she has delivered
themselves.
