In Search of the Open Document Format Specs
===========================================
I remember that an ODF file is a zipped archive whose members are XML
files or a single XML file. I'd been trying to find the specs using a
search engines. But searching has become difficult. However, long ago
I wrote a little blog about OpenOffice. One of the posts there was about
the ODF format and included a URL from which the specs can be downloaded.
The social platform on which I published the blog is no more. However, it
is archived. Thanks goodness I've written posts on Mastodon about the
platform and some of the posts there. The posts are archived on the
Internet Archive[1]. One of the replies on the archived post I've found is
mine, and it contains a link to my public profile, which is archived.
So, I clicked on it and found a link to my blog. My post is there and
ot contains a link to the specs[2].
Now, I have the specs saved to my computer.
Thanks for the archive, and please be so kind as to chip in.
