Democracy WTF

There are protests in Israel against the Judicial Reform and for democracy.
Recently, I saw a post on LinkedIn calling hi-tech employess to change
their job titles to "Chief Democracy Officer". That's a great opportunity
to be promoted to CXO.
Anyways, I believe that since long ago I've not been living in a democracy.
For example, the other day I had attended an event, and photographers had
taken pictures. Then, a couple of days later I received a message - on
WhatsApp, of course - with a link to the pictures. And where are they
stored? Google Drive! Now, to access that Google Drive, you need to log
in to your Google account. WTF? Is having those accounts on Google and
WhatsApp the meaning of democracy?
