Being an Influencer
===================
Here's a link to a message on Mastodon:

In the list I've seen some actions taken by the author, such as deleting
social media and using open source alternatives to well-known proprietaru
products.

The bottom line is that you are an influencer, and you should not forget it.

I myself use Tuta mail instead of the GMail I've deleted, and have deleted
my Facebook account.
If I'm an influencer, I want to feel like one.
But, the responses I get make me feel I have no influence at all:
people will still choose to buy a PC with the Windows OS on them,
the will still use Facebook and Google. They will still use Microsoft Office
to edit documents or maybe Google Docs. They will explain how they have found
nothing better. They will grey rock me by telling me that if I choose to delete
my Facebook and linkedIn account then I have the right to do so. Nothing more.
It's my right and nothing more! If that's what they say, I don't
feel like an influencer.
