# Swiss Internet Soon to be Censored! // 18-6-11

Yesterday, the Swiss people have voted for another step towards censorship,
by accepting the new [law]( https://www.admin.ch/opc/de/federal-gazette/2017/6245.pdf )
about online and other money games (sorry, currently only German link at hand).
I [phlogged against]( gopher://circumlunar.space:70/0/~yargo/glog/./t18312-geldspielgesetz.txt )
it and tried to convince people I know to downvote it, put it seems the "fake news" campaign
surrounding it was successful. What a shame.
Now the fight needs to go on, because there are already additional laws in the pipeline,
about copyright/intellectual property, and you may be able to imagine where the big lobbies
are in that respect..
In addition, I need to put together all howtos and additional information about
circumvention of the censoring measures that will be taken. Not because I am
against Swiss people losing their money in Swiss casinos, but because I simply
abhor any censoring attempt. It's a slippery slope only going downwards.
I feel like surrounded by frogs not noticing the water temperature rising...

But at least the sun is still shining for free! ^-^
