I don't search for info on people's names or psuedonyms
generally, but I decided to try it out on my "tfurrows"
name today. I used duckduckgo and google. I got the
handle "tfurrows" from a flippant, monologuing, 1991
movie starting Steve Oedekerk[1] (and featuring other
mega-ultra-stars in tiny roles.) I've used the handle
quite glibly since the BBS days, never really caring
who else used it.
While it's possible that some other fan of the movie
"High Strung" (not the new one) uses the handle as well,
I'm thinking it's more likely that someone actually has
a name that starts with "T" and ends with "Furrows."
As for the results, check them out yourself if you'd
like. The psuedonym isn't common, it appears, but it
certainly is used by some folks that aren't me. Maybe
that's the case with all handles/psuedonyms. Whatever
the case may be, I think it's kind of nice that I'm
not the only tfurrows out there (though, I am probably
the only Joseph Lyman / tfurrows out there, and the
connection isn't really a secret. Oh well, privacy was
an interesting thing, the history books tell me.)
