Limited space means limited tech. It means that all the
trinkets and hobbies that I used to have around me, within
reach, now have to live in storage unless I really, really
want to have them. I have a little bit of space for a few
items. I'm not sure what to choose.

I want to have my z80 computer, but it's rather bulky. The
draw, of course, is that I built it. I soldered every
connection, I tested every part, I built it over and over
again on breadboard and then on prototype board. But it's
bulky. I could get one that is tiny, or emulate one, but
it's not the same. I have a pcb version that I could attempt
to finish (I think my sio/2 was bad). That might work, and
it's quite a bit more compact. It also has CF storage and
CP/M capability. But even that is "big" really.

As much as it pains me, it might be time to put all of those
projects on hold. Maybe I'll actually follow through and
finish the basement. At least in the meantime, I could write
more. I'm not sure the world needs more novels or children's
books. The world certainly doesn't need any z80 computers.
But maybe I need them both.
