I got  my wife signed  up for SDF,  and she even  spent some
time in commode and on anonradio. And that has been about it
so  far. I've  tried a  couple times  to encourage  her; the
thing is,  she's not really terribly  interested in learning
*nix. I tell her it's easy, but then I recall that I've been
poking at it for more than  20 years, and she really doesn't
use the computer all that often in general...

Her  main operating  systems  are MacOS  and Ubuntu-  mostly
because I  banned Windows from  our house quite a  few years
back (got tired  of supporting it.) Now,  Windows lives only
in VMs for work purposes, and  on a single tablet that has a
locked bios.  She of course has  no problem with the  GUI in
any  OS, since  they are  all  pretty much  designed for  an
infant to use.

Soon, I think, I'll convince  her to sit down and understand
a bit more about the command  line. Her main draw is gopher,
actually; she  likes the  content that  I've sent  her proxy
links to. Hopefully I can teach  her some basics and get her
writing soon.
