I wish I had more time to write today, and that I felt a bit
better as well,  because the subjects that I  read in gopher
space were something that I'd  love to delve into more (both
reading and writing.)

Users tomasino and sparcipx  mentioned prayer and the Rosary
in recent posts[1][2]. ipx seemed  to think that the subject
of religion might be divisive,  but on the contrary, I think
the subject is refreshing in today's world. I suppose it can
devolve quickly  into bickering,  depending on the  crowd. I
personally would love  to read more about  what people think
and feel and believe.

I'm not a theologian or a  philosopher, or any other kind of
-ian or  -er or -ist that  could speak quasi-authoritatively
on the subject, but I do  believe that humans are capable of
reasonable discussion when it comes to things like religion.
We don't  have to  berate or  belittle or  decapitate people
that don't  see things the way  we do. Those actions  are, I
think,  indicative of  a lack  of actual  faith; or  in some
extreme cases,  they might be indicative  of misplaced faith
in ideas or people.

Since  I'm  not  Catholic,  I  can't  add  anything  to  the
discussion  on  the Rosary,  but  tomasino's  post was  very
inclusive on the subject, saying "It is the way of a mantra.
It is the  spirit of the mandala. It is  found in a thousand
traditions in  a thousand  faiths in  a thousand  forms. The
repetition, the effort spent on  the menial to provide focus
for the sublime, that is the spirit I find in the rosary."

Like I said, I  wish I was in a better  place to write more,
but I'll have to leave it at that for now.

I also  wanted to post  some congratulations for RPoD, who's
daughter is getting married[3]. That's an awesome thing, and
an important life event.
