We signed up  with a Realtor today and got  the house on the
MLS. The  FSBO thing was  fun for a  bit, but it  just isn't
quite there yet.  I think in a few more  years it's going to
be all the  rage, but for now Realtors still  control a huge
share of the market. Since I  don't want to wait a few years
to sell my house, it's the MLS or bust.

We went with  a pair of Realtors that seem  to work together
as a team. They approached us  while we were doing FSBO, and
offered to  show us  their marketing plan.  This was  a good
sign that they either: a) had a buyer and wanted to ensure a
commission;  or, b)  housing  inventories were  so low  they
needed to boost listings by going after FSBO folks. I'm kind
of hoping both are true, actually.

That's all the update on  that matter... and ince I've taken
to  multiple  posts  per-day  on  different  subjects,  it's
probably all I should put in this file.
