When  I  first saw  papa's  "Antisocial  Media Manifesto"  I
thought  it read  "Antisocial Manifesto"[1].  Based on  that
alone I was ready to accept  it. I'm just as ready to accept
it as a treatment on the state of social media.

I joined FB in 2012 because  of family pressure. I'm glad to
be free  of it now. What  I learned while using  it was just
what  papa  already  pointed  out:  that  the  social  media
providers  closely  control what  content  we  view and  how
we  interact  with  others.  I thought  social  media  might
be  a  platform  for discussion,  debate,  and  constructive
reasoning;  boy,  was I wrong. Like  I said, I'm glad  to be
free of it.
