RPoD is on a road trip[1] to give comfort to his mother
after a loss. Safe travels RPoD, Godspeed.

Solderpunk is making a gopher client[2]. Someone on SDF
bboard just posted a console/telnet/script gopher client.
I love that people are making them, I think it's awesome.
Can't wait to see it.

I just saw Logout's computer collection[3]. I'm jealous,
it looks like an awesome collection! I also noticed that
Logout runs motsognir, which is a great gopher server,
but for whatever reason not as often used.

I showed my wife an article on gopher last night, and she
loved it. She expressed interest in having a "gopher hole"
of her own. I'm sure I could simplify such a thing for
her, but I see this as an opportunity to encorage her to
learn some shell commands. We'll see if she asks again.
