My wife's brother-in-law works for Morgan Stanley, and he mentioned that
he helped them develop their own filesystem for internal use. He said it
is similiar to "Hadoop" (which, I admit, I had to google... I'm not a
big data guy.) Sounds like an interesting project.

I hope the garden is doing well while we're away from home. I set it up
on an automatic timer with soaker hoses. The only issue is, we use the
"mittleider method," which is a micro-fertilization method akin to
hydroponics, but for low water. It requires fertilization every week,
but we're going to be gone at least 3 weeks. I think it will be OK
though, since the plants are in a kind of composite "soil" and not just
in plain water.
