An update on a smell 03/05/22
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is  the most interesting smell  update that you're going  to read
all day. That's a guess. Call it a qualified guess, if you'd like.

I  mentioned visiting  a used  book  store that  was hard  on the  old
sniffer[1]. I'm  not talking  about the  aroma of  old books,  which I
rather enjoy. No, I'm talking backed-up-sewer. A while back, I visited
a used book store which claimed to  be the largest in the area... only
to find that  the floors were sticky  and the air was  tinged like the
bog of eternal stench. Seriously, I thought I'd never go back.

Yet, tonight, I found myself eating at a little place called Blu Taco,
in the  small town of  Holts Summit, where  this little book  store is
located. And I  thought to myself, "you should go  give that place one
more chance. One last chance--and if it still smells the same, you can
write it off forever."

And so I did.

I'm  happy to  report  that  they've not  only  eliminated the  odors,
they've also mopped  their floors up. Hey, it's more  than I expected!
It  was clean  and neutrally-odored.  There  were a  few other  people
looking around,  but it was quite  and peaceful. I spent  some time in
there browsing around. I'll plan on  visiting there again, when I need
another book to read.
