Re: ROOPHLOCH, moji (zaibatsu), 10/01/2019
------------------------------------------------------------
Potential  spoiler alert:  this  post looks  at user  moji's
roophloch entry,  which calls for some  investigation on the
part of the user.

I don't dig deep or reveal everything, but if you want to do
*all* the digging on your own,  you'll want to read the post
and stop reading and go to the source:

gopher://zaibatsu.circumlunar.space:70/0/~moji/phlog/20193009-details.txt

Moji's  post  was  an  audio file,  filled  primarily  with
clicking  sounds  in  the  foreground. The  first  thing  I
did  was to  save  it with  "s" in  VF-1,  and examine  the
meta/header with  "strings" at  the command line.  I'll let
you do that now.

The  meta data  was very  much aimed  at the  gopher reader.
Having "Port=70"  and "Sundog=moji"  in there,  for example,
meant I found what I was supposed to find.

The meta  data also  included lat and  long coords,  which I
converted to a map location southeast of London, in a park.

The  "ARTIST=" tag  revealed  what I  was  hearing. It  made
perfect sense.

I'm thinking the  "TITLE=" tag is another  clue. There seems
to be more  than one source for the clicking,  and they must
be  trading something...  information,  attraction, I'm  not
sure. Maybe there are 3 sources?

I'll look  forward to more  from the author when  it's time
for that!
