Can  you call  it "cycling"  if you  don't really  know what
you're doing?

Today it  was warm (around 40F)  and sunny out, so  the wife
and I took  the folding bikes for a few  turns. This was the
first outing  for my wife  in a long  while, as she  got her
folding bike  in the dead of  winter, and we got  rid of our
last set of bikes almost a year ago.

I was  a bit worried, after  having sat around far  too much
these last few  months, that I'd have a very  hard time with
the hills.  Thankfully, the  ride was very  easy; I  guess a
break of  years is harder than  a break of a  few months, so
getting  back in  the saddle  this  time wasn't  too bad.  I
didn't struggle at  all with the ride. The  crisp, drier air
might have helped, vs. the hot and heavy air of the summer.

Now I need to convince the  wife to do an overnighter as the
next step. For now, we'll keep practicing around here.

The other fun part about  today's ride was folding the bikes
and tossing them in the trunk  of the car. We drove to where
we wanted  to ride,  had our  fun, then  folded them  up and
drove off. It was nice and simple.
