Cycling/Winter (zaibatsu), 02/11/2019
------------------------------------------------------------
Winter in Missouri has been odd.  In the same week one might
see temps at -8F and temps at 64F. That's not a mistake I've
personally experienced  a shift  of almost  70 degrees  F in
just a couple days. It's certainly not boring.

Cycling,  for me,  just barely  started at  the end  of last
summer. My wife just got a bike in winter. Mostly, our bikes
have been sitting around. Which  leads me wonder: how should
one care  for their bike  in the  winter, if it's  not being
used?

Something  I'm not  used to,  coming from  AZ, is  humidity.
Apparently  it ruins things. I've run into a few issues, but
none with  the bikes yet.  The garage  is a humid  mess; I'd
like to  figure out how  to de-humidify it  effectively, but
for now that's not an option.

Does  anyone have  any  tips,  or things  that  I should  be
thinking about? Is it simply a matter of greasing the chains
and oiling other parts? Are there  any bits of the bike that
might escape  a newcomer's attention,  but which need  to be
considered?
