I'm not the  most organized fellow, and I'm OK  with that. A
part of  me wants to be  the most organized fellow,  but the
more dominant part of me doesn't care. I admire organization
and efficiency,  and I aspire  to them, but they  don't come
naturally to me.

This morning,  I was pondering  on this little  place called
gopher space, and  how much I enjoy it. I've  made an effort
to contribute  when I can,  to help it  grow, and I  want to
continue that  effort. But my  effort has been  scattered. I
think I  want to make an  attempt to organize myself  a bit-
not so much that  I lose any of the joy  or zest that gopher
gives me, but enough that I am more on top of what I want to
accomplish.

The first  thought that came to  me was to create  a writing
plan for  my various  gopher holes. In  reality, I  would be
creating a writing plan for various subjects, and not gopher
holes; it just  so happens that my gopher  holes are divided
by subject.  Still, it's probably better that I think of the
division as  subjects, since that  would be an  easier thing
for me  to consider  in a  writing plan  (based on  level of
interest, and a few other things.)

No one else would need to know  my plan, it would just be an
outline to help me remain productive in writing. The hope is
that this would  help me in other  writing/planning areas as
well. Learning to be disciplined is a good thing, though not
a natural one for me. Now I just have to go and do it.
