Where did the time go? 11/07/24

I haven't posted since June? Seriously? I can't believe how quickly
summer turned to fall... and how we're half way to winter already.
We pulled most of the pepper plants out, after a bumper harvest. The
few that we left in (because we just got tired of working on them)
have continued to grow in spite of the few frosts we've had. Our
Carolina Reaper plant gave us hundreds of little death peppers, which
we've been using in very small amounts in chili. Our who family likes
the flavor, but we have varying opinions on spice level. I made some
chili this evening, in point of fact, with 1/4 a reaper in it, plus a
few slices of jalapeno. Seems just about right, but I've only taste
tested it, as it's not quite dinner time yet.
I recently completed a massive re-arrangement of my personal
belongings. Well, first off, we finished another portion of the
basement, and during that process I found that some of my things
(mostly retro computing) were hiding down there. I was sick of all the
hidden things, so I took all my things from there and the garage, and
brought them into my office. I also slowly got rid of everything in my
office that wasn't mine (it had become a storage place of sorts for
random stuff). Once I got things down to just my own belongings, I
went through them and sold what I didn't want, donated a big box, and
organized everything else.
It appears my space-taking main hobbies at this point are ham radio,
electronics, old computers, and work. I guess work isn't a hobby. I
have some equipment from my main client, and it takes some space in
here.
That all sounds fairly simply on here, but it was easily a couple
months of work and mess.
I'll have to think about what else is new, as I scour through gopher
space to see what you all have been up to... (also, I see the spell
checker on Zaibatsu is borked... will have to work on figuring that
out, sorry for any mistakes).
