I'm surprised it's not happened before, I've been an avid gamer since I was around 10 years old - but I've succumbed to a new hobby.

Retro gaming has really taken off in the last few years and there are just so many devices out there - some companies launch a device almost every fortnight or so :-)

I've listened in occasionally to see what the state of the art (or the successful) looks like as I've been stung before by devices which don't live up to their promise whether that be functionality or experience.

Too many useful vids and articles started to pinpoint a handful of devices which fit the bill and I've decided (~ 3 years after release) to go for a Miyoo Mini Plus.

This could be considered a strange choice - but I'm looking for maturity of community, extensibility and options whether OS possibilities or uses I can put the device to.

So far I'm very happy, Onion OS is up and running and I'm using the device to play some old GBA ROMS I had lying around forever (I'm a bit of a digital hoarder). I'm also watching some Anime which is fun and will help get me through my watch list on train journeys.

I will need to find useful sites to purchase more ROMS from to broaden my emulation experience to other consoles.
