2020-07-17 // reading & keeping up with gopher/gemini (re: solderpunk)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Huzzah! Finished reading Ursula K. Le Guin's "The Left Hand of Darkness"
last night. That's 13 books for the year so far [0]! I'm not a voracious
reader, per se, but at least I've re-acclimated myself to the habit
after neglecting it for years on end. I really enjoyed the book; Le Guin
did a fantastic job of world-building, while sharing such an alien
physiology and culture. I think I'll read her book, "The Dispossessed,"
next.

Solderpunk wrote in his pikkulog [1] that the slow growth of gemini
means we'll get to a point where we can't keep up with *all* of it
easily. I can definitely see that coming sooner than later. Throw
keeping up with mastodon in with it and it gets to be a bit much
sometimes! Perhaps throwing together something that ties the output of
moku-pona [2], CAPCOM [3], and toot [4] is in my future.
