I read that the first amendment does not protect against: defamation, fraud,
imparting false information, and false commercial speech. And if I understand correctly, this means that broadcasters are allowed to partake in all that stuff.
So if Obama had anything to do with that, then he gets to add "Defended free speech" to his resume, plus any other lies he wants to throw in.
