I'm glad that his father had the decency to do that. I know lots of parents who stand behind their children even when their children have done terrible things. (That's not love.)
Charlie's widow referred to the "people who did this" as "They." She knows far more about this than I do, but I'm with her on that. I don't believe that this was just some idiot 22 year old acting alone. My first thought when you gave me the news was "f'n Democrats."
