That's funny! Joe said the same thing. To me it sounds great, but what happens when someone's brake lights are out or something? Can the cops give them a ticket for that?

You're right about this being an elitist thing. I have a regular mechanic who I go to for everything mechanical (things that I can't do myself) and he's great, but he doesn't handle Check Engine Light. He recommends going to the dealership for that. But the problem is that the dealership doesn't know what they're doing.
Dealerships are already shady enough as it is, and this just empowers them even more.
