DHCP reservation (it's not actually a static IP as you assign the IP from
within the computer itself, not the router, for a static IP; a static IP is
when the computer tells the router what its IP is...in this case, the router
is telling the computer what its IP is) is a very nice thing.  I use that
heavily in my work when dealing with printers.
