Who has said that? What I've said is:

A: There is no (E)SLF
B: It would be a waste of time to continue to kludge the nodelist. It is
best to start fresh and new and convert data back for those that must
continue to use SLF

This is what is known as FUD. No one has to upgrade software. See point B
