Hey Jan,
It seems to me that Fido is nearing the end of its
useful life, and that the job of writing new nodelist compilers and editors
that would use XML instead of ASCII is probably not worth undertaking.
On the other hand it would be a relatively simple matter to write a utility
that would convert the current nodelist to HTML or XML in much the same way as
present nodelist compilers produce human readable lists now. This might satisfy
Micael Bulow's needs. (Shouldn't there be an umlaut on the U?).
Have I missed or misunderstood anything important?
