Uh, why are we here?  Coz everyone's ignoring the nodelist specs and putting
shit everywhere under all manner of status flags (Pvt, Hold and whatnot).

They can use it as their echomail route instead of Host route.  It's more
likely that you may think...

With the demise of Regions and Hubs, there is no now no need for the Uplink
keyword - the node number itself contains all the information necessary.  But
since much software uses it to route mail, we can reuse it as the echomail
route, rather than Host route.

[HRN processors designed to enforce the spec explode because people list
invalid uplinks; Dale tells them all to upgrade their software or piss off]
