MBSE is tightly integrated with the host OS. It needs to be able to create
user accounts, change passwords, etc. During the SETUP.sh process, it needs
to modify /etc/services, /etc/inetd.conf and/or /etc/xinetd.conf, etc. The
tests in SETUP.sh help determine the proper steps to ensure that the BBS works
without disrupting any other operations on the system.
