I read your original message, which basically covers INSTALL.in almost to the
letter plus a few extra things it looks like you needed to do because of
Debian/Raspbian itself. I plan on using a non-Debian based distro anyways, so
I'm sure I'll be figuring it all out on my own.
However, your original post and now knowing it is indeed possible to compile it
on ARM devices entices me to continue.
