When I transferred to x64 from i86 it went smoothly, I compiled mbse on a X64
system
and installed the system then I copied over all of the x86 mbse system files
but NOT
the binaries (~/bin directory) to the new system overwriting the newly created
install data files etc.

Worked straight away.

Watch out if you have changed the paths of mbse or any of the data areas
though and
change them in the setup procedures after the 'copy' !

Also when coping use the preserve date & attribute settings when using cp,
e.g., 'cp
-a '  or  'cp -p ' etc.
