>hehehe. Jahmas is an old nick I've had for quite a few years now. It's like an

Well at least you always knew that your patients would remember you if they
thought about their pajamas <G>.  That's a great story.

Some sysops may not realize that they can EDIT those LORD lady scripts for
their own use, if they or their BBS LORD players don't like the way they work.
They can edit UGLY.LDY so that it is more likely to run the "Good Charm"
routine event.  They can just change the &N3 variable to something like 2, and
it won't hurt anyone's LORD game much.

There's more ways in LORD itself and in some igms for players to always LOSE
charm points, so every little bit helps the end user if you do stuff like that.
Biggest pain there is as to Charm Loss though is the Divorces.  Only solution
to that one is to NOT get married <G>.

Have you ever checked to see how much of your system's CPU the game
monopolizes?  If everything on the system acts like it is going through
quicksand when you try to do anything besides run LORD, then perhaps that's
incentive enough to update to LORD v4.07.  Its been optimized to run faster,
and to use less of the CPU cycles.

There's always advantages and disadvantages to upgrading to a new version of
any door game.  One just has to evaluate them all and then make a decision as
to what to do.  Donald.
