Michael,

A suggestion for the weapons and armor shops: when a player looks at the
weapon/armor list to purchase, you could also like how many strength points
they need to wield (that is misspelled in the door, BTW) next to each item and
then at the prompt show how many points they currently have accrued.  I was
playing the game this morning and I noticed that (I haven't played it much)
little quirk after selling my weapon to purchase the next one higher up and
then the little "points" thing popped up.

Also, the ANSI for the armor shop has about three or four blank lines at the
end of the screen, causing the menu to scroll up and off of the screen for the
most part.

I do like the strength points thing though - it makes the gameplay go slower
and you don't move quite so fast in the game.
