MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Down East Blueberry Buckle
Categories: Pastry, Fruits, Desserts
     Yield: 9 servings

     2 c  A-P flour
   3/4 c  Sugar
 2 1/2 ts Baking powder
   1/4 ts Salt
     1 lg Egg; room temp
   3/4 c  Milk
   1/4 c  Butter; melted
     2 c  Blueberries

MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING-------------------------------
   1/2 c  Sugar
   1/3 c  A-P flour
   1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
   1/4 c  Butter; softened

 Set oven @ 375ºF/190ºC.

 In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and
 salt. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk and melted butter
 until blended. Add to flour mixture; stir just until
 moistened. Fold in blueberries. Transfer to a greased 9"
 square baking pan.

 For topping, in a small bowl, mix sugar, flour and
 cinnamon. Using a fork, stir in softened butter until
 mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over batter.

 Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out
 clean, 30-35 minutes (do not overbake) . Cool in pan on
 a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
