You're close.  "Feld Hellschriber" in German is translated to "field light
writing".  This is the mode that the Germans used in WWII for talking to
units abroad and then it was used world wide for newspapers.  It's a very
old but reliable mode that requires you to read it and not a computer. :)

Out here, it's usually 80-90F with 60-90% humidity, sometimes 100% at that
time of year for Field Day.  It's fun to go out to all the sites but I
generally melt at that temperature and humidity (being from Southern
California) so I will stay home and work 1D all night long.
